Delhi Local Tour
You will be picked up at your hotel or the airport to start your trip.
The journey normally begins in Old Delhi, when you go to the Jama Masjid, which is one of the biggest mosques in India. Take a rickshaw ride around Chandni Chowk, a busy market with stores selling spices, textiles, and street food. The Red Fort, a UNESCO monument, is only a short drive away. You can see its huge red sandstone walls and hear stories about the Mughal emperors there.
Then, go to Raj Ghat, a calm memorial for Mahatma Gandhi.
On your way to New Delhi, you'll see the majestic India Gate, which is a war memorial, as well as Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan, which is the President of India's official home.
In the afternoon, you may see amazing buildings like Humayun's Tomb, an early Mughal masterpiece that came before the Taj Mahal, and the Qutub Minar, the tallest brick tower in the world.
Visit the quiet Lotus Temple at the end of the day. Its beautiful lotus-shaped design and calm atmosphere make it a great place to relax. You can also go to Akshardham Temple, which is known for its sculptures and cultural exhibits, if you have time.
